Trust, Security, and Privacy for Ubiquitous Computing

CALL FOR PAPERS

Extended Deadline: now Feb. 7th

The Third International Workshop on Trust, Security and Privacy for Ubiquitous Computing (TSPUC 2007)

This workshop aims at focusing the attention of the research community on the increasing complexity and relevance of trust, privacy and security issues in ubiquitous computing.

Papers may present theory, applications or practical experiences on topics including, but not limited to:

  1. Key establishment and key distribution
  2. Access control models, policies and mechanisms
  3. Trust and reputation management
  4. Privacy and identity management
  5. Anonymity and location privacy
  6. Digital assets management
  7. Context/location aware computation
  8. Self-organizing networks and communities
  9. Intrusion and anomaly detection
  10. Secure user-device interfaces
  11. Distributed consensus in the presence of active adversaries
  12. Analysis/simulation/validation techniques
  13. Handling emergent properties
  14. Phishing - attacks and countermeasures
  15. Case studies

in the areas of mobile, ad hoc, and sensor networks, and embedded/portable/wearable devices.

Submission Instructions

Paper submitted to IEEE TSPUC 2007 should neither have been published elsewhere, nor currently under review by another workshop, conference or journal.

As the accepted papers will appear in the symposium proceedings published by IEEE, we recommend to format manuscripts according to the IEEE double-column standard format (see instruct.ps at ftp://pubftp.computer.org/Press/Outgoing/proceedings/).
